Years of efforts makes education in TEDA develop vigorously in an all-round way, which makes the city full of confidence and vitality. At present, 34 educational institutions of different levels have been built, including 4 colleges, 7 primary and secondary schools, and 12 pre-primary education institutions. High-quality educational resources covering a vertical system from pre-primary to vocational education and a horizontal system from community to international schools have formed, being able to satisfy various demands of domestic and foreign investors and local residents.

The Tianjin Juilliard School:

Well known as the “Harvard of Music Field”, The Juilliard School is a top music school in the world. As the first overseas branch of Juilliard in the world, The Tianjin Juilliard School operates formally in the autumn of 2020.

TEDA College of Nankai University:

It is a key college listed in China’s Project 211 and Project 985, and also one of the 17 pilot colleges under the Ministry of Education.

Tianjin University of Science and Technology:

It is the only regular undergraduate  university in Binhai New Area, and qualified to confer bachelor, master and doctoral degrees, train postdocs and accept senior visiting scholars at home and abroad and foreign students.

TEDA Experimental School:

As a school with nine-year persistent system, TEDA Experimental School has comprehensively adopted information-based teaching.

TEDA No.1 Secondary School:

Established in September 1997, this school is a state-run full-time middle school. Taking the motto of “honesty and erudition”, it implements all-round education and pays close attention to students’ comprehensive development and cultivation of personality.

TEDA International School:

It is the first school for both Chinese and foreigners in Tianjin, including the main campus, international department and Tianjin branch campus. Absorbing advanced ideas, experiences and methods for running schools at home and abroad, the school has gradually explored a brand new education mode of integration of Chinese and Western cultures.

TEDA Maple Leaf International School:

Founded in May 2008, it is an international boarding school subordinate to Maple Leaf Education Group. The school established Tianjin Maple Leaf Education Park on August 30, 2011, which has primary, junior middle and senior middle school divisions.

TEDA No.1 Kindergarten:

It is a Class I and Grade I kindergarten in Tianjin, a national excellent experiment base for scientific and technological education, a health education activity base, and a Montessori experiment base.
