2021 TEDA Auto Forum Kicks off

The 2021 International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development (IFCAID) is held between September 3rd and 5th in TEDA. The Forum further upgrades and optimizes its whole-year planning, subjects setting and release highlighting integration, innovation and green growth. Via both off-line fairs and on-line live streaming in venues of Beijing and Tianjin, more than ten meetings including views of think tank, high-end dialogues, seminars, keynote speeches, subject discussion, brainstorm, prospects on frontier technologies are held. For the first time in the event’s history, a central SOE closed-door workshop is held. Through three days for thought exchange and topic discussion, the event provides think tank support for the sustainable and high-quality development of China’s automobile industry.

As one of the biggest and most high-end and influential events of the auto industry, the Forum has been held for 16 years consecutively since 2005. In the meantime, TEDA’s automobile industry has developed rapidly, and TEDA has become one of the leading automobile bases in China. In the first half of this year, the output value of automobile manufacturing industry in TEDA was 57.959 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. The output of automobiles was 506,000, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year.
