TEDA’s New Move in Circular Economy

Recently, Science and Technology Park Company operated by TEDA Industrial Park, signed an energy supply agreement with Cabot. According to the agreement, the waste heat generated in the production in Cabot will be reused to provide steam for other enterprises in the Park. “The cooperation mode can not only reduce the cost of steam use, but also better promote the energy recycling in the park.” a manager of the Science and Technology Park Company said.

Established in TEDA in 2004, Cabot Tianjin has now become the global flagship factory of Cabot. With 7 super production lines and 2 comprehensive waste heat utilization centers, the company is the only integrated carbon black production plant in the world.
