A New HQ Base Lands in TEDA

On June 20th, TEDA Administrative Commission signed an Investment Cooperation Agreement with Zhejiang Jiemei Electronic and Technology Co., Ltd. to build a production and R&D headquarters base in North China at TEDA with an investment of 1.45 billion yuan. The project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase mainly builds the production line of release film, thin carrier tape and packaging tape, and plans to start this year. The second phase will build the production line of release film base film, and finally the integrated layout of release film industry chain will be realized. Once launched, it will further strengthen the company’s strategic layout of “Focus on Samsung”, and fill the gaps of related industries and technical talents in TEDA.

Zhejiang Jiemei Electronic and Technology Co., Ltd. is the only company with thin carrier tape whole industrial chain in China. Its products including paper carrier tape have been rated as national key new products and listed as the national torch plan project. The company mainly provides supporting services for large multinational electronic components companies in the world including Samsung, Murata, Panasonic, Yageo, Taiyo Yuden and Fenghua Advanced Technology, and well-known domestic listed companies.
