A New Material Project Starts Trial Production in TEDA

Recently, the new project of lithium salt and electrolyte production by Tianjin Jinniu New Materials Co., Ltd. has been officially completed and entered into trial production. With a total investment of 270 million yuan, the project can produce 1,200 tons of lithium salt and 15,000 tons of electrolyte per year, which will further improve the lithium battery industry chain in TEDA and help the development of new materials industry in the area.

Jinniu New Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tianjin Jinniu Power Materials Co., Ltd., was incorporated in 2019 in TEDA. As a lithium-ion batteries manufacturer in the upstream industry, Jinniu New Materials  is the first high-tech enterprise in China to engage in the R&D and industrialization of lithium hexafluorophosphate and electrolyte. The company provides Murata, Samsung, Lishen, Gotion High-Tech and CALB and other well-known battery manufacturers at home and abroad with its main products including electrolyte and lithium salt.
