Another Zhongguancun-related Fund to Start Operation

Recently, a TEDA enterprise, TEDA Industrial Development Corporation, has joined hands with Beijing Zhongguancun Venture Capital Development Co., Ltd. and other companies to establish the Beijing Ecological Rainforest Venture Capital Center (limited partnership). Registration has been completed and the fund will soon enter the actual operation stage.

The Rainforest Fund is a market-oriented fund with a fund size of 280 million RMB, which mainly operate equity investment in early-stage start-up SMEs and technology enterprises in the fields of science and technology service industry, medicine and health, and new generation information technology. The establishment of this fund will provide support for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to drive the industrial chain with the innovation chain and transform science and technology innovation with financial empowerment. It also helps promoting more Beijing-based science and technology service resources to extend their business in TEDA.
