Import, Export Value of TEDA BLC Topped in 2020

In 2020, the total value of import and export goods of TEDA Bonded Logistics Center (type B) went up 66.6 percent year-on-year to 21.79 billion yuan. In the same period, the total value of import and export goods ranked first among bonded logistics centers (type B) in China.

TEDA Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) is the first bonded logistics center in Tianjin, covering an area of 0.22 square kilometers. It started operation in 2010. Its main business is bonded warehouse, involving computer server spare parts, mobile phone spare parts, chemicals, machinery, plastic medicines, etc., servicing enterprises cover over 10 provinces and cities nationwide.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the demand for electronic products, such as servers, has increased strongly in the domestic market, and the increasing orders propose new request to time and cost of logistics. In this regard, Tianjin Customs has successively introduced a series of measures, continuously strengthened the logistics node function of the Center connecting international and domestic markets, and greatly improved the efficiency of customs clearance of the Center in multiple dimensions.
