Tianjin Laird to Be Asian R&D Headquarters

TEDA Administrative Commission has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tianjin Laird Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. who will be upgraded to the Asian R&D Headquarters, expand the existing product categories and introduce well-educated researchers simultaneously. Tianjin is the first choice for the R&D headquarters to produce and sell new products.

Laird High-performance Electronic Materials Group is a global leader in high-performance electromagnetic shielding and thermal management. Founded in 2001 in TEDA, Tianjin Laird is committed to be a new driver center of Laird Group, focusing on the design, development, manufacture and sales of high-performance electronic materials. Since its establishment, it has developed rapidly in TEDA, and its strength has been continuously enhanced. Based on the latest international strategy of the Group and the advantages of the Tianjin team, Laird Group will upgrade the new driver center to the Asian R&D headquarters.

TEDA is home to many R&D institutions. Global Fortune 500 enterprises including PPG Coatings and Continental AG have set up the Global R&D Center and the Asia-Pacific R&D and Production Headquarters in TEDA respectively.
