World’s First Intracranial Drug-eluting Stent Made in TEDA

The innovative product “intracranial drug-eluting stent system” produced by Sino Medical Sciences Technology Inc. was approved for marketing, being the first intracranial drug-eluting stent in the world. The unique drug coating of the new stent can inhibit the excessive proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and reduce the incidence of in-stent restenosis, thereby reducing the risk of long-term recurrent stroke. Its approval marks the beginning of a new era of intracranial drug-loaded interventional therapy.
