China’s Largest Oilfield Chemicals Project Put into Production in TEDA

On September 1st, the Bohai Production Center of oilfield chemicals built by CNOOC Energy Development Engineering Technology Oilfield Chemical Company was officially put into production in Nangang Industrial Zone. The project is CNOOC’s largest chemicals plant for water treatment, gathering and transportation of oil & gas with 4 production lines, covering 22 series of 4 categories. Its independent production capacity of 50,000 tons/year accounts for about 80% of the market share of domestic oilfield chemicals. The continuous supply of multi-category and high-quality oilfield chemicals will guarantee the exploitation and smooth operation of offshore oilfields in China.
