Sinopec Catalyst Locates Branch in TEDA

Recently, Sinopec Catalyst (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was inaugurated, marking the official settlement in TEDA. With the registered capital of 620 million yuan, the enterprise will ensure the construction and production of Tianjin new materials production base project of Sinopec Catalyst Co., Ltd.

Sinopec invested 11 key projects and 60.3 billion yuan during the 14th Five-year Plan period. Tianjin new materials production base, one of the key projects, was built in two phases with a total investment of 6.5 billion yuan. Phase 1 focused on the construction of 7 sets of catalyst production devices and supporting facilities, and phase 2 was for new products such as molecular sieves, battery cathode materials and new aluminum-based materials.

As the wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec, Sinopec Catalyst is a world famous producer, supplier and vendor of petrochemical catalyst, exporting its products to Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
