TEDA Welcomes Another Automotive Industry Chain Project

Recently, Tianjin Hengxing Weima Steel Processing Co., Ltd. officially settled in the TEDA. This company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Changchun Hengxing Steel Processing Co., Ltd., a first-tier supplier to FAW-Volkswagen. They will be constructing a factory in TEDA at the FAW-Volkswagen North China Base. The project's investment is approximately 100 million yuan, and once completed and put into operation, it will have the capacity to process steel materials for 2 million vehicles annually, with a storage capacity of 200,000 tons per year. It will provide uncoiling, cutting, and warehouse distribution services for steel materials for various vehicle models at the FAW-Volkswagen North China Base. The project is scheduled to start construction by the end of 2023.

Changchun Hengxing Steel Processing Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 and is a comprehensive company that integrates steel processing, storage, distribution, container disassembly, on-site tracking, and after-sales service. The company mainly provides one-stop services to automobile manufacturers like FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Car, as well as component companies like Tower Automotive.
