Assembly workshop of Long March 5 carrier rocket in Tianjin Launch Vehicle Base of First CASC

The assembly and test workshop of Tianjin Aerospace Long March Rocket Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is located in Tianjin Launch Vehicle Base, and mainly undertakes the assembly, quality characteristic measurement, inspection test and proficiency test of the new-gen large and medium-sized launch vehicles represented by Long March 5.

Tianjin Launch Vehicle Base was established in TEDA in 2008, covering an area of about 3,000 mu. It comprises of rocket research and production area, aerospace technology application industrial area and supporting area, which integrates the production and assembly of components and test of assembly. It is a new space city representing advanced aerospace technology of China and even the world.
