2026 World Intelligence Expo Held in Tianjin, Heavyweight Projects Landed in TEDA 

The 2026 World Intelligence Expo was held in Tianjin from May 28 to 31.The day before the meeting, a batch of high-quality projects officially landed in TEDA, covering fields such as automotive and high-end equipment manufacturing, next-generation information technology, new chemical materials, biomedicine, and modern services. These projects further strengthen TEDA’s position as the core hub for Tianjin's advanced manufacturing and R&D, driving industrial transformation toward high-end, intelligent, and green development while injecting "hardcore power" into TEDA’s smart manufacturing.

Unitree Robotics Signs Strategic Agreement with TEDA

Unitree Robotics Co., Ltd.signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Tianjin Municipal Government and TEDA. Both parties will leverage Tianjin’s advantages in talent, industry, and port logistics to carry out deep cooperation in application scenarios and R&D, aiming to promote the innovative application of embodied intelligence in TEDA and accelerate the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei innovation hub for the embodied intelligence industry.

This partnership is a key move for Unitre Robotics to expand its presence in the Northern China market. Looking ahead, the company will accelerate and deepen pragmatic cooperation, deploy its products and business in Tianjin, and systematically promote the implementation of Unitree’s embodied AI robots across various fields.

SF Express Digital Logistics Headquarters Project

SF Group, a leading domestic comprehensive express logistics service provider, has established its Digital Logistics Headquarters in TEDA. This headquarters will primarily manage the Group’s freight business, becoming a key enterprise in TEDA’s transportation sector and a representative of the platform economy. SF Group plans to acquire two floors of office space to house teams from the digital logistics headquarters and other related business segments.

Corun New Energy Full-Chain Project

TEDA signed a Quadripartite Strategic Cooperation Memorandum with Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd., Tianjin University, and Tianjin Binhai New Area Construction & Investment Group Co., Ltd. Focusing on the energy storage sector, this cooperation will launch three industrial projects: advanced energy storage battery materials, battery equipment manufacturing, and energy storage system integration and application. To support these projects, the four parties will build a system for innovation and capital support, including the joint establishment of a Zero-Carbon Park Research Institute to provide source innovation and talent for industrial iteration. Binhai Construction & Investment will lead the establishment of a special new energy industry fund to empower project construction, supply chain investment, and the cultivation of premium business sectors.

Schaeffler New Energy Vehicle Electrification Product Investment Project

Vitesco Automotive Electronics (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Schaeffler Group. The Schaeffler Group will carry out investment in new products for new energy vehicle (NEV) electrification in TEDA, deploy these new NEV electrification products, and upgrade relevant production lines to continuously deepen its integrated "production line + R&D center + laboratory" strategic layout in Tianjin.

Tianhe High-Speed Interconnect Chip Project

As a commercialization project of Tianhe’s next-generation computing achievements, this project focuses on autonomous high-speed interconnect network chips and supporting equipment, building an autonomous and controllable foundation for core digital economy infrastructure. Currently, Xingluo Interconnect Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. has been established in TEDA, with its core products 200G and 400G InfiniBand multi-mode fusion network products adopting an autonomous technology stack. From the underlying process technology to the upper-layer communication protocols, the system is fully autonomous and controllable, providing a solid guarantee for domestic IT application innovation computing systems.

MedOranger (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. AI + Digital Therapeutics Intelligent Agent R&D and Production Base Project

MedOranger (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. will expand its smart production base in TEDA, establishing intelligent production lines for respiratory detectors, pulmonary function meters, and supporting consumables, with pilot production planned for the second quarter of this year. The Company specializes in digital therapeutics and holistic solutions for respiratory diseases such as COPD, and its self-developed digital therapy project for inhalation treatment received China's first medical device registration certificate for an inhalation drug device digital therapy, filling a significant gap in the industry.

Diyiqu Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Innovation Industrial Demonstration Park Project

Diyiqu (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd. will invest approximately RMB 150 million to build the Diyiqu Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Innovation Industrial Demonstration Park in TEDA’s East Zone. Covering about 18,000 square meters, the project will focus on attracting small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises with high added value and strong growth potential from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The first batch of participants includes five projects, such as Hongsheng Technology and Rilleford Petroleum Machinery.
