TEDA has seen rapid development in the field of education, with several universities such as Tianjin Juilliard School, Nankai University TEDA College, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, as well as 7 primary and secondary schools, 30 kindergartens, and 40 educational research units.

The Tianjin Juilliard School:

The first overseas collaborative branch of the world-renowned music school, the Juilliard School. The first graduate students completed their studies in May 2022 and were awarded Master’s degrees from Juilliard School in New York.

Nankai University TEDA College:

It is a key college listed in China’s 211 and 985 key university national projects, and also one of the 17 pilot colleges under the Ministry of Education.

Tianjin University of Science and Technology:

It is the only general undergraduate university in Binhai New Area. Qualified to confer bachelor, master and doctoral degrees, train postdoctoral students and accept senior visiting scholars at home and abroad and foreign students.

TEDA Experimental School:

As a nine-year-system school, TEDA Experimental School has comprehensively adopted information-based teaching.

TEDA No.1 Secondary School:

Established in September 1997, this school is a state-run full-time middle school. Taking the motto of “honesty and erudition”, it implements all-round education and pays close attention to students’ comprehensive development and cultivation of personality.
