Unitree Robotics Sets Up Tianjin Subsidiary in TEDA

Tianjin Yutian Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unitree Robotics Co., Ltd., was officially registered in TEDA. Following the establishment of the new company, Unitree Robotics will advance the landing of products and operations in Tianjin, focusing on the  intelligent robot applications in scenarios such as ports, petroleum and petrochemicals, and manufacturing. It aims to build a comprehensive industrial innovation platform integrating R&D innovation, achievement transformation, scenario adaptation, talent cultivation, and maintenance services.

UBTECH Sets Up Tianjin Subsidiary in TEDA

Tianjin UBTECH Robot Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen UBTECH Robotics Corp., Ltd., was officially registered and established in TEDA. Following its establishment, UBTECH will deploy and build three major facilities in TEDA: the Intelligent Manufacturing Base for Simulated Humanoid Robots, the Embodied AI Industry Ecosystem Innovation Center, and the Robot 6S Flagship Operation Platform. Upon completion, the project will further drive the clustering of upstream and downstream enterprises in key components, maintenance services, and data collection within the embodied intelligence sector in TEDA.

Global Pet Food Leader Royal Canin Mars to Upgrade Business Operations in TEDA

The TEDA Administrative Commission and Mars Petcare (China) Co., Ltd. officially signed a memorandum of cooperation. According to the memorandum, Royal Canin, a brand of Mars, will continuously ramp up its investment in Tianjin to comprehensively upgrade its business operations relying on the Royal Canin Tianjin Factory in TEDA. The upgrade entails the expansion and technological iteration of dry and wet pet food production lines, as well as new product development and innovation. In addition, Royal Canin will also broaden cooperation across the pet health industry and actively participate in the development of new pet consumption scenarios in Tianjin.

Huadian Power International TEDA Branch commenced construction on its 10,000-ton solid adsorption carbon capture demonstration project in Nangang Industrial Zone. As a national key R&D project, it adopts cutting-edge carbon capture technologies. Upon completion, the project will be a groundbreaking project in China in industrial-scale 10,000-ton solid adsorption carbon capture. It will provide crucial technical support for emission reduction in traditional thermal power and promote clean and low-carbon coal-fired power utilization.

Bohai Bay of Beauty JenKem Technology Healthcare Park Project Breaks Ground in TEDA

A commencement ceremony for the Bohai Bay of Beauty JenKem Technology Healthcare Park Project was held in TEDA. Invested in and constructed by Beijing JenKem Technology Co., Ltd. with a total investment of approximately RMB 315 million, the park plans to house several newly developed products, including JenKem's PEGylated sodium hyaluronate gel for injection. Furthermore, JenKem also partnered with the TEDA Administrative Commission to co-build a 12,500-square-meter incubation platform to introduce high-end medical aesthetic materials, devices, and biopharmaceutical projects.
