Tianjin Laird to Be Asian R&D Headquarters

TEDA Administrative Commission has inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Tianjin Laird Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. It will be upgraded to the Asian R&D Headquarters by expanding the existing product categories and introducing well-educated researchers simultaneously. In the future, Tianjin is the first choice for the R&D headquarters to produce and sell new products.

Core Cloud Computing Base of Kingsoft Cloud in North China Broke Ground in TEDA

The first phase of the cloud computing data center of Kingsoft Cloud has been launched in Yat-sen Scientific Industrial Park. It is expected to be the core cloud computing base of Kingsoft Cloud in North China. Preparation such as workforce housing and facilities has been made. The center is planned to be put into production in the second half of this year. Kingsoft Cloud Data Center will further expand TEDA’s cloud computing industry chain.

Neutralizing Antibody of Covid-19 Vaccines Detected in 6 mins

Newscen Coast Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., an enterprise in TEDA, launched a kit for neutralizing antibody detection of Covid-19 vaccines in 6 minutes through microfluidic chips recently, which took the lead in breaking through the technical barriers. The product is being validated clinically.

High-end Artificial Lens Made in China

The high-power hydrophilic non-spherical foldable artificial lens independently developed by Tianjin Shiji Kangtai Biomedical Engineering Co., Ltd. obtained class-III medical device registration certificate in China. This artificial lens, with quality equivalent to its international counterparts, are applicable in the treatment of cataract diseases.

An Industry Leader from TEDA Completes￥300Mln Financing

Beijing Winicssec Technologies Co., Ltd. announced the completion of D-round strategic financing of 300 million yuan. In 2017, the Tianjin Winicssec Information Technology Co., Ltd. was founded by Winicssec in Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park as R&D and supply chain management hub of the group.

Carale Robots Completes Pre-A Round Financing

On March 16, Carale Robots completed the pre-A round of financing led by Aplus Labs, which will be mainly used in the R&D, production and marketing of the company’s inventory robots. Carale settled down in Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park in 2018.

EMAGING Completes Land Bidding, Auction and Listing

Tianjin Emaging Technology Co., Ltd. (EMAGING) completed the transaction of listed land, which is a successful case after TEDA issued the implementation plan of “starting construction immediately after getting the land” since the beginning of 2021. TEDA completed the preliminary investment filing, planning condition declaration and temporary power application within one week, greatly shortening approval cycle for construction commencement, and fully supporting the enterprise to begin construction as soon as possible.

TEDA Builds Another Biomedical Industrial Park

On March 25, Tianjin Zhonghai Haihuigu City Update Project commenced. A comprehensive service center of the park, production workshops and GMP dust-free laboratories for biomedical and medical device enterprises will be built. In the future, Haihuigu will be built into a comprehensive park integrating R&D, office work, production, processing, living and entertainment.
