TEDA-made Tianzhou-2 Cargo Spacecraft Launched

A Long March-7 Y3 carrier rocket blasted off at 8:55 pm on May 29, sending Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft into orbit. The rocket was assembled and manufactured in the industrialization base for China’s next-gen carrier rocket in TEDA West.

NXP AI Application Innovation Center Opened

NXP Global Artificial Intelligence Application Innovation Center was launched in Micro-electronics Industrial Park quiet recently. The center is constructed in two phases. The first phase is an AI application demonstration base opening to the public that day, and the second phase is an AI innovation practice base facilitating the development of local enterprises, especially SMEs through NXP’s leading technology.

TEDA’s COVID-19 Test Kit Got Big Export Order Again

JOYSBIO (Tianjin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., an enterprise from TEDA, signed an order for 18 million COVID-19 test kits with Greek government. After being selected into bidding purchases of COVID-19 antigen tests by the EU in February, JOYSBIO signed the bid-winning agreement with the Greek Ministry of Health in April.

Asia’s Biggest Petrochemical Product Management Firm Landing in TEDA

Sinopec Chemical Commercial Holding Company Limited, the largest petrochemical product management firm in Asia, established Enmore.com in TEDA quiet recently, with a registered capital of 100 million yuan. The company will build an online trading platform for chemical products, making deals of over 400 billion yuan per year expectedly.

TEDA Won WIPO-CNIPA Awards

The 22nd WIPO-CNIPA Awards for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design were announced recently. Four innovative projects of TEDA won the awards. Among them, one project won the Silver Award of Chinese Design, and three won the WIPO-CNIPA Excellence Awards. WIPO-CNIPA Award is the highest honor in China’s patent field.
