Vitesco Technologies to Increase Capital by 1.2 Billion RMB in Tianjin

China’s leading software industry enterprise, Jinxiandai Information Industrial Corporation, officially established its Tianjin headquarters project in TEDA. Situated in the financial street of TEDA, this project will offer customized services such as network and information security software development, Internet of Things (IoT) technology research, and digital technology for various enterprises. With Tianjin as its core, the project will extend its reach to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. By expanding the information technology software service market in northern China, it will support the informatization development of enterprises in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

PetroChina New Energy Sector will be Implemented in TEDA

Tianjin PetroChina New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. has been registered and established in TEDA. The Company serves as an investment and operational platform established by PetroChina Company Limited for expanding its presence in the new energy sector in Tianjin. The new company is expected to commence operations by the end of the year with the construction of the PetroChina Integrated Smart Supercharging Station, integrating solar energy storage, charging, discharging and power detecting in TEDA. In the next phase, PetroChina will invest in and construct new energy industry projects in Tianjin, including smart charging and switching stations, distributed or centralized photovoltaic systems, and hydrogen energy networks, etc.

Hebei Hengwang Investment Group to Establish a New Energy Sector Headquarters in TEDA

TEDA Administrative Commission has signed an investment cooperation agreement with Hebei Hengwang Investment Group. The Company plans to invest a total of RMB 9 billion to establish the new energy sector headquarters in TEDA. A lithium iron phosphate cathode material production base is under construction as well. After completion, the annual production capacity of this base’s will be 300,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials. In the future, Hebei Hengwang Investment Group will also intend to establish the headquarters and a battery cathode production base in Tianjin. The Tianjin base will eventually become the largest new energy industry hub in Northern China.

TEDA Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Tianjin Unicom

TEDA Administrative Commission and China Unicom Tianjin Branch held a strategic cooperation and signing ceremony for the “Promotion of Digital TEDA Construction and the Creation of a Smart City Benchmark.” The event also marked the establishment of the “China Unicom (Tianjin) Industrial Internet Research Institute.” Based on the digital upgrade of TEDA industries and smart city construction projects, the two parties will conduct cooperation in key areas such as 5G new infrastructure, data centers, smart cities, intelligent manufacturing, smart healthcare, intelligent connected vehicles, and Smart Nangang.

FAW-Toyota Launches Talent Development Center in TEDA

The opening ceremony of the FAW-Toyota Talent Development Center was held at Tianjin FAW-Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. This talent center has been upgraded and transformed from the original FAW-Toyota Technical Training Center. As an important skill talent training base in TEDA, FAW-Toyota conducted approximately 230,000 online training sessions and around 30,000 offline training sessions in 2022. These training sessions have consistently provided highly skilled talents to support the high-quality development of TEDA.
