TEDA Sees Group Signing of Multiple Green Projects

During the 2023 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Low-carbon Innovative Development Forum and the Conference on Zero-carbon Smart Park Construction, TEDA’s Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park signed a cooperation agreement with State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company’s Dual Carbon Operation and Management Subsidiary. This collaboration aims to jointly promote the construction of the State Grid Tianjin Zero-carbon Smart Park. Additionally, Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park signed investment cooperation agreements with Randys, Handerson Environmental Technology, and Polaris Power Grid. These agreements involve collaboration in environmental protection equipment, low-carbon technology, and dual-carbon talent training.

TEDA Signs Cooperation Agreement with Sensors and IoT Industry Association

TEDA signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Sensors and IoT Industry Association (SIA). Both parties aim to accelerate the collaborative innovation and cross-industry integration of sensors and the automotive industry. The goal is to facilitate the application of more home-made sensor products in vehicles, and build TEDA into a new hub for the development of automotive sensors.

Farizon Auto Tianjin Plant has Completed Construction

The completion ceremony of the Farizon Auto Tianjin Plant was held in TEDA. During the event, Farizon Auto inked strategic cooperation agreements and order contracts with over ten companies, and delivered various types of new energy vehicles to Tianjin Binhai New Area Public Transport Co., Ltd., New Tianjin Steel Group Logistics Company, and Tianjin Shoulashou Jicheng Logistics Co., Ltd.

Deli Group Tianjin Operations Center Opens in TEDA

Tianjin Deli Smart Warehousing Logistics Technology Company officially commenced operations. This marks a significant move by Deli Group to expand its presence in the smart warehousing and logistics market in the North China region. Serving as the Tianjin Operations Center, Deli Smart Warehousing Technology will undertake various functions, including the group’s North China sales center and operation & maintenance hub, providing customers with intelligent warehousing software, hardware, and solutions. In the future, the group plans to continually introduce its research and development center, smart warehousing center, and other business segments into TEDA.

Domestic Leading High-end Medical Equipment Company Launches New Project in TEDA

The high-end medical equipment and consumables R&D and industrialization project of the extracorporeal circulation system by a TEDA enterprise, Tianjin Welcome Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., has been officially completed. The project will fill the gap in the domestic field of intelligent extracorporeal life support emergency device and high-end consumables (coated consumables and ECMOs). On the same day, the company’s Intelligent Cardiopulmonary Life Support Technology Equipment Engineering Center was initiated, which will engage in strategic consulting, technological innovation, new product development, and talent cultivation.

Another Fortune 500 Company Settles in TEDA

The Tianjin Branch of AIA Life Insurance Co., Ltd. held an opening ceremony for its marketing office in Tianjin Binhai New Area at the Tianjin Chow Tai Fook Financial Center. Its operations will cover the entire Tianjin Binhai New Area and its surrounding regions. AIA Life Insurance is a Fortune 500 company with operations in 18 markets, including China, Singapore, Australia, and South Korea.

2023 Auto Finance Industry Summit Concludes in TEDA

The 2023 China Auto Finance Industry Summit was held in TEDA. The summit focused on hot topics in the industry, including auto finance, digitization in auto finance, the new energy vehicle market, innovation and development in the used car market. Participants provided insights and opinions for breaking new ground in auto finance under the new pattern.

TEDA Co-hosts a Forum in Belgium

The 5th Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Forum was held in Brussels, Belgium. The forum was organized by the Tianjin Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Tianjin Commerce Bureau, Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, and TEDA Administrative Commission. During the forum, the National Offshore Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals (Tianjin Binhai New Area), located in the Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park in TEDA, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China-Europe Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association. The collaboration will focus on strategic cooperation in talents introduction, entrepreneurship competitions, and the construction of offshore sci-tech innovation centers.
