16 Companies Join Hands with Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park

The 2024 China Innovation Tour Tianjin Seminar was held at the Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park in TEDA. Sixteen high-quality technology companies, including Digital Health China Technologies Co., Ltd. and Zhongke Shangyi Health Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., collectively signed agreements to settle in Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park. The signed projects cover key industrial fields such as intelligent technology, life and big health, new energy and new materials, and technology services. These projects will help complete and strengthen the industrial chain in the park.

TEDA Holds Exchange and Cooperation Meeting with UAE-China Innovation Center

The cooperation and exchange meeting between TEDA and UAE-China Innovation Center was successfully held. Both sides hope to establish close ties through this meeting and plan to sign a strategic cooperation agreement which will enable the UAE-China Innovation Center to establish a Tianjin office in TEDA. They aim to promptly rally representatives from TEDA enterprises to conduct on-site visits to the UAE and to provide more opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation.

Novo Nordisk Signs MOU with TEDA Biopharmaceutical Industry-Education Consortium

Novo Nordisk and TEDA Biopharmaceutical Industry-Education Consortium jointly signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. Both parties will step up close collaboration between universities and enterprises and further develop distinctive apprenticeship programs. The joined effort will promote the integration of the education, industry, talent, and innovation chains, and explore the establishment of a two-way flow mechanism for vocational personnel and enterprise technical experts.

NXP Launches Its First Cloud Lab in TEDA

NXP Semiconductor’s AIoT Innovation Center Cloud Lab was officially launched and commenced operations in the Micro-electronics Industrial Park of TEDA. This marks NXP’s first fully online laboratory worldwide. Through the Cloud Lab, NXP can provide users with swift experiences spanning hardware, software, and solutions beyond geographical boundaries. In the future, the Cloud Lab will also help users access NXP’s partner resources and enable them to trial hardware and solutions developed by NXP’s partners.

Jintonghua Electric Group R&D Center Launched in TEDA

Tianjin Jintonghua Electric Group Co., Ltd. held the inauguration ceremony for its R&D center in TEDA. The center, located in the Tianqi Building of Xiangluowan Business District, covers an area of 4400 square meters. It will be used for research, demonstration, and sales of the data management cloud platform under the group’s smart energy sector.

A Specialty Rare Gas Project of Wanghai Technology Starts Trial Production in Nangang

A specialty rare gas production and filling project of Tianjin Wanghai Technology Development Co., Ltd. started trial production in Nangang Industrial Zone of TEDA. With a total investment of about 200 million yuan, it consists of five gas production and filling lines, along with supporting facilities for gas cylinder inspection and gas testing laboratories. The project mainly produces crude and refined krypton-xenon, refined helium-neon, liquid oxygen, high-purity oxygen and other products, which will be widely used in fields such as chip manufacturing, aerospace, medical treatment, and scientific research.

Tianjin Jinke Household Chemical New Materials Intelligent Manufacturing Project Commences Construction in Nangang

The Tianjin Jinke Household Chemical New Materials Intelligent Manufacturing Project officially commenced construction in the Nangang Industrial Zone of TEDA. This marks Jinke’s first project in northern China. The whole project has a total investment exceeding 1 billion yuan and covers an area of approximately 190,000 square meters. The first phase of the project covers 150,000 square meters and it will primarily construct a production line with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of sodium percarbonate and related functional green daily-used new chemical materials. The first phase is scheduled to be completed in 2025. Upon completion, it will fill the gap in the high-end sodium percarbonate material preparation technology in northern China.

Atour Hotel Launches at Ruizhong Financial Center in Yuxiang Area

Tianjin Jincheng Hotel Management Company has signed a cooperation agreement with Ruizhong Financial Center in TEDA’s Yuxiang Area. The company aims to lease the 51st to 54th floors of the Ruizhong Financial Center for the construction of an Atour Hotel. The hotel will feature over a hundred exquisite and cozy guest rooms, equipped with multifunctional conference rooms and specialty restaurants. This will further enhance the business amenities in the Yuxiang Area and cater to the diverse needs of consumers for business meetings, conferences, leisure, and tourism.
