GRAMMER Interior Tianjin Production Base to Start Production

The GRAMMER Interior Tianjin Production Base project has recently passed completion acceptance. Currently, installation of production line equipment has been initiated. Located in TEDA East, this project has a total investment exceeding 120 million RMB. It mainly includes a pre-foaming workshop, a stamping and welding workshop, an assembly workshop, a logistics workshop, and office areas. Once operational, it will become one of the most important production and R&D bases of the GRAMMER Group in China and further boost localized supply capacity of automotive parts in TEDA.

Investment Totals 16.658 Bln Yuan! Multiple Projects Join Hands with TEDA at World Intelligence Expo 2024

The signing ceremony of key projects for the 2024 World Intelligence Expo was held at the Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel on the morning of June 19th. A total of 103 key projects were signed, with a total investment of about 109.2 billion yuan. Among them, a series of intelligent projects with a total investment of 16.658 billion yuan settled down in TEDA, covering multiple fields such as biomedicine, high-end equipment, automobiles, and finance. These projects will further promote high-quality industrial development in TEDA.

TEDA Welcomes Groundbreaking for GreenPine Pharma Intelligent Factory Project

TEDA saw the groundbreaking ceremony for the GreenPine (Tianjin) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Intelligent Drug Factory Project (Phase I) for high-quality carbapenem preparations. With a total investment of 788 million yuan, the first phase is expected to be China’s first full-category carbapenem R&D and production base. An intelligent linked production line for dual-chamber powder-liquid bags will be established, planned as the largest production base for ready-to-use dual-chamber powder-liquid bags in North China.

SINOPEC & INEOS Establish New Materials Company in TEDA

SINOPEC INEOS Styrolution New Materials (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was established recently in TEDA Nangang Industrial Zone. The company has a registered capital of 1.68 billion RMB with its business scope covering synthetic materials manufacturing, synthetic materials sales, chemical products sales, information technology consulting services, consulting and planning services, engineering plastics, synthetic resin manufacturing, etc. The company is jointly owned by China Petrochemical Corporation (SINOPEC) and INEOS Styrolution APAC Pte. Ltd.

China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) Intelligent Factory Launched in TEDA

China’s first self-developed intelligent factory for offshore oil and gas completion tools was launched in TEDA. This marks a significant step towards fully intelligent manufacturing of China’s high-end offshore completion tools industry. It is also of great importance in improving production efficiency of complex oil and gas fields, shortening construction time, and extending exploitation lifespan.

Zhonghuan Chenhua Starts Business in Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park

Zhonghuan Chenhua (Tianjin) Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. commenced operations in TEDA Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park. The company aims to provide integrated services covering energy conservation and environmental protection R&D, design, equipment manufacturing and general contracting for non-ferrous metal, steel and chemical enterprises. This new project will facilitate the green transformation and upgrading of enterprises both in TEDA and nationwide.

Vitesco Technologies Partners with Honda

Vitesco Technologies has announced that it will provide its integrated high voltage axle drive, EMR3, to Honda’s upcoming new CR-V e:FCEV model. This marks the first application of Vitesco Technologies’ drive system in a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle. The EMR3 is currently produced at Vitesco Technologies Tianjin Base in TEDA. The Tianjin facility integrates R&D, testing and production, and its products include high voltage electric drive systems, high voltage electronic control systems, high voltage battery management systems, and 48-volt electric auxiliary drive systems.

2024 Overseas Talents Demand Release Conference Initiated

Themed “Wisdom Converges in Binhai, Pursuing Dreams for the Future”, the 2024 Overseas Talents Demand Release Conference was initiated. Hosted by the Tianjin Committee of China Zhi Gong Party and the Tianjin Western Returned Scholars Association, the conference released talent demands of Tianjin Binhai New Area to a global audience through an online platform. TEDA companies such as Mid-Link, Launch Design, and Century Healthcare briefed their respective recruitment demand during the conference. Renowned international companies like Asymchem, Volkswagen Automatic Transmission, Novo Nordisk, and Rockcheck Group offered nearly 200 positions across various industries to overseas talents.
