Investment Totals 11 Bln Yuan! High-Quality Projects Settled in TEDA

Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo 2024 (TISIE 2024) held its signing ceremony for key projects. Multiple high-quality projects with a total investment of 11 billion yuan were settled in TEDA, including the GenerTec Green Supply Chain Industrial Base Project, ETrip (Tianjin) Commercial Factoring Project, etc. These projects will inject strong momentum into the high-quality economic development in the region.

Healthy Sleep Brand Leader DeRUCCI Established a Subsidiary in TEDA

DeRucci Healthy Sleep Co., Ltd. established its subsidiary DeRucci Investment Holdings (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. in TEDA. The new company has a registered capital of 50 million yuan and will serve as the main platform for DeRUCCI’s outbound investment business, to facilitate industrial project incubation and resource integration. DeRUCCI is a leading company in China’s premium soft furniture industry and engages in the development, production and marketing of a whole set of healthy sleep system.

One More Auto Industry Project Started Construction in TEDA

Tianjin HengxingWeima Steel Processing Co., Ltd. started factory construction. The project is located in TEDA FAW-Volkswagen North China Base and has a total investment of 100 million yuan. It is designed to provide services such as steel uncoiling and shearing, and warehousing and delivery for different types of vehicles. The project will have an annual processing capacity of steel materials for 2 million passenger vehicles, with a storage capacity of up to 200,000 tons per year. This will further meet the needs of the industrial layout and technology extension for the FAW-Volkswagen North China Base.

TEDA Smart Petrol Manufacturing Base Started Construction

Tianjin DongQuan Petroleum Tech. & Devel. Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony in TEDA for its project of intelligent innovative equipment manufacturing base with an investment of 72.38 million yuan. The project will develop products in the fields of communications, fire and gas detection, and automatic control for offshore oil platforms, covering oil spill monitoring, fire and gas detection alarms, automatic ship identification, automatic water pollution monitoring, and electronic fence alarms. The project is scheduled for use in June next year.

Tianjin Beacon Coatings Nangang Project Started Production

Tianjin Beacon Coatings Industry Development Co., Ltd. started production of its project in Nangang recently after it obtained the safety production license. The project was about to produce 50,000 tons of coatings and 20,000 tons of resin per year. 427 million yuan was invested in the project. The project is set up in TEDA Nangang Industrial Zone and covers 70,000 square meters. It mainly involves the construction of coating production facilities, storage and transportation facilities, as well as supporting production facilities. The products will be primarily used in key national military projects and specialty coatings for high-tech fields.

Lohmann Solar Power Project Made Progress in Environmental Protection

Lohmann Adhesive Tape Technologies (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. completed its solar power project and started operation in TEDA. By installing solar panels on the roofs, Lohmann Adhesive Tape Tianjin Factory converts solar energy into renewable energy, reducing its reliance on traditional fuels. The annual carbon emissions will be cut by 25% after the project is put into use.

Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei AI Medicine Park Operated in TEDA

Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Artificial Intelligent Medicine (J³ AIM) Park launched its sharing space in TEDA, which marked its official marketing operation. The Park was jointly established by Tianjin International Joint Academy of Biomedicine (TJAB) and Tianjin TEDA Industrial Development Group. The park plans to build technical service platforms in the areas of public algorithm, data encryption storage and application, clinical data application, large computing power cluster, and intelligent equipment CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization), and to create an “incubation + financing” industrial cultivation system. So far, 9 companies have registered and settled in the park.

TEDA Signed MOU with UAE China Innovation Center

TEDA hosted the High-Quality Outbound Middle East Exchange Conference & China Innovation Center (CIC) in UAE Promotion Seminar. During the seminar, TEDA Administrative Commission signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CIC in UAE. The two parties will work together to promote exchanges and cooperation between enterprises and institutions in multiple fields, including industry, economy and trade, technology, research and development, and innovation. It is aimed to establish connectivity of competitive resources between Tianjin and Dubai, and to create a model of high-quality cooperation between China and the UAE.
