A Liquid Cooling Intelligent Computing Project Joins TEDA

Tier’s R&D and Production Base (Tianjin) for Liquid Cooling Intelligent Computing Integrated Equipment settled down in TEDA. The project, invested by Anhui Tier Liquid Cooling Technology Co., Ltd. with 470 million yuan, will include a production base for integrated equipment of immersion liquid cooling intelligent computing, a 2000P immersion liquid cooling AI computing power center, as well as a demonstration & technology promotion center at TEDA Yat-sen Intelligence & Innovation Park.

Tianjin’s 1st AIC PE Fund Set Up in TEDA

Tianjin Binhai Gongrong Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership) completed its business registration at TEDA Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park. This marks the establishment of Tianjin’s 1st AIC PE fund, which is set to become operational. With a targeted investment scale of 1 billion yuan, the fund will focus on strategic emerging industries and future industries, providing robust financial support for fostering new quality productive forces in Tianjin Binhai New Area.

A Smart Equipment Project Breaks Ground in TEDA

The Modular Container Overall Assembly Project of Kaidilier (Tianjin) Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. broke ground at TEDA Industrial Park. The project, with an investment of 160 million yuan, will primarily produce energy storage containers, prefabricated buildings, RTO combustion chambers, etc. The project is scheduled to begin production in the fourth quarter of 2025, with an expected annual output value of 600 million yuan after reaching full production.

TEDA Welcomes New Heavyweight Optics Project

The TEDA SHPHOTONICS Metasurface Optics Project was launched in TEDA West. The first phase involves a total investment of 545 million yuan and is expected to be completed and become operational by December 2026. The project will tackle technical shortcomings in the metasurface optics sector in China, driving the transformation of the traditional optics industry into integrated optics and intelligent photonics. It will also attract upstream material and equipment manufacturers as well as downstream modular factories and OSATs to establish their operations in Tianjin, creating a globally leading hub for emerging industries.

An LNG Emergency Reserve Project Goes into Full Production

A ceremony for the Beijing Gas Tianjin Nangang LNG Emergency Reserve Project was held in TEDA Nangang Industrial Zone to celebrate its full production. The project, with a total investment of 20.1 billion yuan, consists of an LNG receiving terminal, a dock, storage tanks, transmission pipelines, and auxiliary facilities. The project achieves an emergency reserve capacity of 1 billion cubic meters, an annual LNG unloading capacity of 5 million tons, and a maximum daily gasification transmission capacity of 60 million cubic meters. It will support TEDA Nangang Industrial Zone in building the largest LNG Energy Base in North China and an Energy Reserve Base for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, which will ensure energy security for Beijing and contribute to the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.

TEDA to Welcome a Nucleic Acid Consortium

Tianjin Nucleic Acid Vaccine and Drug Innovation Consortium was approved for establishment. Led by TEDA-based CanSino Biologics, the consortium will focus on the entire nucleic acid industrial chain covering nucleic acid vaccines, innovative drugs, medical devices and equipment, raw materials, CMC, CRO, and evaluation, to create a top-tier innovation & technology platform for nucleic acid vaccine and drug in China. It plans to take the R&D of innovative nucleic acid vaccine and drug pipelines as a key focus to create a mature model for implementing the commercialization of nucleic acid drugs and provide a strong regional demonstration effect.

Tech Breakthrough by TEDA-based Company Wins Prestigious Awards

TEDA-based Tianjin Dexiang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was honored with 2 prestigious awards, the Gold Medal of the National Invention Exhibition and the Best Invention Medal of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), for its “Innovation and Application of Microfluidic Gel Technology”. Primarily applied in blood transfusion testing, this project has achieved intelligent and unattended operation for blood transfusion testing for the first time. This marks the world-first intelligent analysis system and pipeline for blood transfusion testing.

TEDA-based Company to Open New Bullet Train Route in 2027

Tianjin-Weifang-Suqian High-Speed Railway Co., Ltd. was recently established in TEDA with a registered capital of 73.713 billion yuan. The company is responsible for the investment, construction, as well as operation and management of its project for Tianjin-Weifang-Suqian High-Speed Railway. This project, with a total investment of 150 billion yuan, will have a total railway line length of 747 kilometers. The Weifang-Suqian section starts from Weifangbei Railway Station in Shandong Province and ends at Yanghebei Railway Station in Suqian, Jiangsu Province. The Tianjin-Weifang section starts from Binhai Railway Station in Tianjin Municipality and ends at Weifangbei Railway Station in Shandong Province. This new bullet train is expected to start operation in 2027.
