GWM Launches World's First Intelligent Super Platform for All Powertrains in TEDA

GWM has officially unveiled its new-generation Intelligent Super Platform for all powertrains. As the world's first vehicle architecture compatible with five power forms—plug-in hybrid, pure electric, hydrogen energy, hybrid, and fuel—the platform has commenced construction at GWM's Tianjin production base in TEDA. Currently, the new luxury model under the WEY brand, developed based on this platform, has entered the final quality validation phase. It will also be produced in the Tianjin plant. 

CNPC Drill Bit Business Headquarters Established in TEDA

CNPC (Tianjin) Drill Bit Co., Ltd. has completed its registration in TEDA. As the specialized operational platform for CNPC Group's drill bit segment, the company will focus on polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) bits as its core product, fully integrating R&D, production, sales, and technical services for the group's drill bit business. Headquartered in TEDA, it oversees multiple regional branches across North China, Northeast China, and other areas, establishing a nationwide operational service network.

Vestas Launches New Nacelle Project in TEDA

Vestas Wind Technology (China) Co., Ltd. held the launch ceremony for the EnVentus™ MK1 nacelle project in TEDA, marking the official start of its production. Vestas introduced the MK1 series of 7.2 MW onshore wind turbines, a new generation of advanced modular designs, on the EnVentus™ platform. As part of its global manufacturing strategy, Vestas selected its Tianjin base in TEDA to initiate production of this series, with large-scale mass production expected to begin by early 2026. 

Bohai Chemical Phase II Project Fully Operational in Nangang Industrial Zone

The second phase of the Bohai Chemical Nangang New Materials Industrial Park, an integrated chlor-alkali project with a total investment exceeding RMB 5 billion, has now entered full operation. Core facilities, including an annual output of 300,000 tons of caustic soda, 400,000 tons of vinyl chloride, and 400,000 tons of PVC, have reached designed production capacity. With coordination from multiple TEDA departments, the industrial park has synergized with several leading enterprises in the region, contributing to the establishment of a complete industrial system in Nangang Industrial Zone, spanning from basic chemical raw materials to high-end new materials.

TEDA Biotech Innovation Park Inaugurated; HOCERMED Signs Lease Agreement 

The Accelerator A1 and A2 plants, along with the Incubator B1–B4 plants of the Phase II construction project of TEDA Biotech Innovation Park, have successfully passed the joint inspection. This innovation park is positioned as a research-oriented production headquarters space, with Phase II primarily dedicated to the R&D and production of biomedicine industries and the production of high-end medical devices. Currently, the HOCERMED medical R&D and production base project has signed and moved in. With a total investment of 120 million yuan, this project will focus on the R&D and production of ultrasonic scalpels, high-frequency electrosurgical knives, intelligent staplers, and other products.

The E-Commerce Industrial Park Completed in TEDA

The Lege Tianjin TEDA E-commerce Industrial Park project has been completed in TEDA Middle Zone. As an industrial carrier integrating warehousing, logistics, and office functions, the park will focus on four key industrial directions: new consumption, new materials, new logistics, and new services, committed to building an ecological system featuring multi-industry linkage and collaborative development.

China's First! Another TEDA-Made Product Obtains International Certification

The HIV (1+2) Triple-line Antibody Rapid Test Kit, independently developed by TEDA-based enterprise Tianjin Newscen Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has obtained EU IVDR certification, making it China's first HIV triple-line product to achieve the highest risk-level IVDR certification. This certification not only marks a significant milestone for Newscen Bio-Pharmaceutical's development but also represents a major step forward for China's in vitro diagnostics industry in advancing toward high-end and international standards.

TEDA-Denmark Bio-Pharmaceutical Industry Workshop Held in Copenhagen

The TEDA-Denmark Bio-Pharmaceutical Industry Workshop, hosted by the TEDA Administrative Commission, was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. More than 10 Danish biopharmaceutical innovation enterprises and institutions, including Novonesis, Acendas, ENZIDIA, 2-control ApS, and Danish-Chinese Business Forum (DCBF) , were invited to attend. During the workshop, they held discussions with the TEDA delegation on topics such as market expansion, R&D collaboration, clinical trials, and industrial chain synergy, resulting in a number of high-quality projects under negotiation.

China (Tianjin)-Finland Green Industries Cooperation Exchange Conference Held in Helsinki, Finland

The “Invest in Tianjin ·Select Economic Development Zones” China (Tianjin)-– Finland Green Industries Cooperation Exchange Conference was successfully held in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The event invited representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Finland, Business Finland, as well as leading Finnish companies and institutions to gather with responsible persons from Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), and entrepreneur representatives, discussing new pathways for green industry cooperation. During the workshop, TEDA released cooperation scenarios covering five major categories and sixteen directions, including clean energy, equipment and urban renewal, resource recycling, ecological and environmental protection, and intelligent transformation, and signed a green technology cooperation memorandum with Solved The CleanTech Company.
