Otis to Manufacture Two New Products in TEDA
Otis Worldwide Corporation recently launched new products, among which the Gen3™ Comfort smart elevator and the Otis Smart Cab II will both be produced in the Otis TEDA base. The Gen3™ Comfort is the company’s first product designed with an aging-friendly concept. The Otis Smart Cab II, on the other hand, integrates more personalized designs and cutting-edge intelligent lighting systems. The decision to manufacture these two new products in the TEDA base fully demonstrates Otis’s strong confidence in its continued development in TEDA.

Gurit Global R&D Center for Advanced Composite Materials Inaugurated in TEDA
The TEDA Administrative Commission and Gurit Holding AG of Switzerland jointly held an unveiling ceremony for the Gurit Global R&D Center for Advanced Composite Materials. The center is expected to be officially operational by the end of 2025. Currently, Gurit has established two core production bases in TEDA, including the group's largest global PET production base and Gurit Fiberglass Products (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., which specializes in the application of pultruded profiles in the wind power sector.

Projects Signed and Center Established! Beauty and Wellness Industry Accelerates Its Rise in TEDA
The 2nd “Bohai Beauty Bay”Industrial Innovation and Development Conference was held in TEDA. During the conference, five enterprises, including Tianjin JenKem Technology Co., Ltd. and Bloomage Biotech (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., etc., signed letters of intent for cooperation with TEDA. Additionally, the Bohai Beauty Bay Industrial Development Promotion Center was inaugurated, aiming to build industry platforms based on sector demands, assist relevant enterprises in connecting with top-tier policies, and facilitate efficient resource alignment.

PipeChina Launch Two Key Projects in TEDA
The Tianjin Operations Center of PipeChina commenced operations in TEDA, which will fully support the production and operational activities of PipeChina’s five secondary units in Tianjin, building a comprehensive energy pipeline transportation industrial chain that spans infrastructure, storage and transportation, technical R&D, and customer services. An agreement of intent was signed between TEDA and the PipeChina Research Institute for the Scientific Testing Base project. The base, with a total investment of 7 billion yuan, focuses on core functions such as innovation and R&D, testing and verification, achievement incubation, international exchanges, and talent cultivation.

Nangang Green High-End Rubber Project of Yanshan Petrochemical Fully Launched
Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical Company and the TEDA Administrative Commission signed the Letter of Intent on Investment Cooperation, marking the full commencement of the implementation phase for the Green High-End Rubber & New Materials Project of Yanshan Petrochemical in Tianjin Nangang. With a total investment of approximately 6 billion yuan, the project is carried out in two phases. The first phase plans to invest 2.42 billion yuan to build two production units, one with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) and the other with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of butadiene rubber (BR). The second phase is intended to develop distinctive and competitive projects of Yanshan Petrochemical.

Tianjin Nangang Smart Logistics Service Center for Hazardous Chemicals Commences Operations
The Tianjin Nangang Smart Logistics Service Center for Hazardous Chemicals officially began operations. The center covers a total area of approximately 200,000 square meters. It is primarily divided into three functional zones: an integrated office area, a hazardous chemicals warehouse area, and a hazardous chemicals parking lot. Additionally, a smart management platform covering the entire process has been established, forming an integrated service capability of "warehousing + parking + logistics". The project has opened up a new east-west maritime logistics channel for hazardous chemicals in northern China, which will effectively reduce regional end-to-end logistics costs.

Uniongene's Novel Recombinant Biologics Production Base Inaugurated in TEDA
The novel recombinant biologics production base of Uniongene Bioengineering (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was inaugurated and put into operation in TEDA. With a total investment of 700 million yuan, the project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase, with an investment of 360 million yuan, focuses on a production line for long-acting growth hormone drugs. Upon full operation, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 5 billion yuan, significantly enhancing the international competitiveness of China's independent drug research and development capabilities.

TEDA Integrated Service Hub for Cross-Border Global Business Expansion Officially Launched
The TEDA Integrated Service Hub for Cross-Border Global Business Expansion Launch Ceremony and an event themed “Tianjin Products Go Global, Invest in TEDA" was successfully held. As an all-in-one service platform for cross-border expansion, TEDA Integrated Service Hub for Cross-Border Global Business Expansion offers full-chain services, support for all business formats , and full-factor empowerment. It aims to facilitate the supply and efficient matching of global high-end cross-border expansion service resources, while establishing the city's first Cross-Border Expansion-Themed Eco-Island that specializes in port-oriented and maritime industries. During the event, the TEDA Eco-Island for Cross-Border Global Business Expansion was also inaugurated, with 12 companies signing agreements on-site to settle there.

TEDA– Greater Bay Area Financing Roadshow Successfully Held
The 21st International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry The Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) – Greater Bay Area Financing and Investment Promotion Roadshow was successfully held in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. The event brought together investment institutions such as ZTE Capital (a subsidiary of ZTE Corporation) and Shenzhen Benefit Capital, along with more than ten strategic emerging enterprises from the Greater Bay Area.
