Tianjin Amcellgene Engineering Co., Ltd. announced a collaboration with Hong Kong Regen Medtech Limited, granting the latter exclusive rights in Hong Kong for its core pipeline product—Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Injection (Umbilical Cord)—for the treatment of acute-on-chronic liver failure. The transaction follows a model of "upfront payment + milestone payments + sales royalties," marking the first time a domestic stem cell drug company has achieved a business development breakthrough outside the mainland.

TEDA Unveils Top 30 Innovative Enterprises

TEDA has released the list of its top 30 innovative enterprises for 2024. Companies such as CanSino Biologics, 712 Communication & Broadcasting, and the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin stood out for their outstanding innovation capabilities and industrial contributions. Collectively, these enterprises hold 2,366 valid invention patents, accounting for 26.5% of the total in TEDA. Their R&D investment in 2024 reached 5.37 billion yuan, surpassing 50% of TEDA’s total R&D expenditure, making them a core driving force in leading the development of new quality productive forces in the region.

TEDA Hosts Biomedical Cooperation Exchange in Shanghai to Attract Investment

The "Development Strategy in China for Pharma and Medical Devices Multinationals——Exchange Conference on Tianjin Local Policies Interpretation, M&A and Cooperative Innovation" was held in Shanghai recently.
