Deepening Cooperation in Green and Low-Carbon Development: ROK Environmental Enterprise Delegation Visits TEDA

On June 5, a delegation comprising representatives from the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment of Republic of Korea and ROK enterprises specializing in intelligent environmental protection equipment visited TEDA. The two parties engaged in deep discussions regarding the development of the environmental protection industry and explored potential cooperation opportunities.
During the seminar, the delegation provided a detailed presentation on the core technologies and product advantages of 16 innovative Korean environmental protection equipment enterprises, and expressed high recognition of TEDA’s premium platform for green industry development and its abundant application scenarios, signaling a strong interest in introducing more replicable and practical environmental innovation projects to TEDA.
The green and low-carbon industry has emerged as a new engine for economic growth and a driver for the high-quality development of foreign trade in TEDA. TEDA has been recognized as one of the first national-level demonstration zones for the circular economy, a national low-carbon industrial pilot zone, a green industry demonstration base, a Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) demonstration zone, and a national carbon peak pilot zone. To further strengthen its industrial support system, TEDA has also compiled and released the TEDA Green Industry Handbook (2025 Edition).
Leveraging its comprehensive energy and environmental infrastructure and a premium business environment, TEDA has gathered a group of green industry enterprises characterized by distinct features and complementary strengths, offering integrated, full-process services across consulting, manufacturing, construction, and operation. In terms of cooperation with ROK, TEDA has already attracted leading multinational corporations such as Samsung Group, Mobis, and Hyundai Steel, with their operations spanning key sectors including next-generation information technology, intelligent automotive components, and new chemical materials.
