TEDA Talent Recruitment Sees Favorable Results in Hong Kong

Recently, TEDA Administrative Commission, together with more than 10 key regional enterprises, attended the Innovating Hong Kong – Global Talent Carnival 2024 in Hong Kong to conduct talent recruitment. At this event, TEDA unveiled over 40 high-quality positions in industries such as information technology, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine. TEDA representatives provided an overview of the region on urban image, talent ecosystem, business environment and advantageous industries. They also engaged in extensive exchanges with attendees. Within just two days, TEDA received over a hundred resumes covering more than ten professions including financial insurance, business administration, biochemistry, mechanical engineering, and law. According to the organizers, Tianjin ranked among the top in terms of preferred destination for job seekers among the other participating provinces and cities.

Supervised by the Youth Work Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong SAR, the Innovating Hong Kong – Global Talent Carnival was co-organized by institutions including the Y.Elites Association and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Association. The event integrated recruitment and forum and it was the largest annual recruitment event for international talents in Hong Kong. This year’s event attracted participation of previous and fresh graduates from over 100 universities worldwide. Among them, postgraduates and doctoral students account for as much as 70% and cover various fields including electronics, machinery, chemistry, biomedicine, finance, and law.
