2026 TEDA Scenario Information Release Conference Held in Shenzhen

On May 21, the 2026 TEDA Scenario Information Release Conference, hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the TEDA Administrative Commission, took place in Shenzhen. Centered on the theme of "Opening Scenarios and Accelerating Application Implementation", the event featured both a high-level corporate roundtable and the formal scenario information release. The conference aimed to establish a precise matchmaking platform for government-enterprise collaboration, promoting the integration of Shenzhen's leading intelligent technologies with TEDA's extensive application scenarios, thereby injecting robust momentum into the high-quality industrial development of both regions.

Zeng Weipeng, Deputy Director of the TEDA Administrative Commission, and Liu Zhixin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Division (Development Zone Division) of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, delivered speeches at the corporate roundtable and the information release conference, respectively. Attendees included representatives from the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion, TEDA Advanced Manufacturing Investment Promotion Bureau, Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, TEDA State-owned Capital Investment Co., Ltd., and the Green Partnership of Industrial Parks in China, as well as nearly 70 representatives from nearly 40 leading Shenzhen-based enterprises and industry organizations in fields such as artificial intelligence, electronic information, and biomedicine. 

Government-Enterprise Dialogue: Fostering North-South Collaboration

At the high-level corporate roundtable, Zeng Weipeng, Vice Chairman of the TEDA Administrative Commission, extended a warm welcome to the Shenzhen-based enterprises. He noted that Shenzhen stands at the forefront of China’s innovation and technology landscape, home to industry leaders in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, new energy, and high-end manufacturing. As a hub for Tianjin's advanced manufacturing and a vital gateway for Northern China's opening-up, TEDA boasts a robust industrial foundation and is fully committed to building a modern industrial system characterized by green, low-carbon, intelligent, and open integration. He expressed his hope that this event would serve as a catalyst for deepening industrial synergy between Tianjin and Shenzhen, fostering complementary advantages and mutual growth.

A representative from TEDA Advanced Manufacturing Bureau outlined the development zone’s industrial ecosystem and innovation strengths, with a focus on leading sectors such as automotive and high-end equipment, next-generation information technology, new chemical materials, and pharmaceuticals & healthcare.

During the interactive session, representatives from high-tech Shenzhen firms, including Xingyun Technology, Qiangrui Precision Technology, MiracoMotor, and Luban Daojia, presented their cooperation proposals. Xingyun Technology expressed interest in collaborating on cross-border e-commerce and AI computing power; Qiangrui Precision Technology explored opportunities for precision manufacturing projects; MiracoMotor sought in-depth cooperation in the special vehicle sector; and Luban Daojia proposed joint efforts to enhance livelihood services. TEDA officials responded to each inquiry with comprehensive insights and practical guidance, tailored to the region’s industrial policies, resource support, and investment environment.

Several high-tech enterprises from Shenzhen took the floor to promote their corporate strategies, core technological advantages, and development needs, signaling a strong commitment to future partnership. Executives held in-depth discussions with the TEDA delegation regarding business expansion in Northern China. Many representatives expressed their desire to establish long-term communication mechanisms, with the goal of bringing their cutting-edge technologies to TEDA for industrial application and commercialization.

Focusing on Frontier Sectors: Launching Diverse Application Scenarios

At the scenario information release conference, Liu Zhixin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Division (Development Zone Division) of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, delivered a keynote speech. He noted that Tianjin and Shenzhen share strong industrial complementarity and a solid foundation for cooperation, with vast potential in scientific innovation, industrial upgrading, and open development. TEDA’s commitment to open application scenarios provides Shenzhen’s high-tech enterprises with excellent venues for project implementation and broad growth prospects. He expressed the hope that more Shenzhen-based firms would explore Tianjin, establish deep roots, and share in the development opportunities to drive industrial upgrading together.

During the conference, TEDA unveiled a series of application scenarios across five key focus areas: green and low-carbon development, future industries, industrial upgrading, smart city development, and livelihood services, presenting concrete cooperation opportunities to Shenzhen enterprises.

As one of China’s national-level development zones with the largest economic scale, highest level of openness, and most optimized investment environment, TEDA features a comprehensive industrial chain and hosts numerous global leaders and multinational corporations. It not only offers highly compatible application scenarios for Shenzhen enterprises but also facilitates their connection to global high-end resources.

A representative from TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion provided an in-depth overview of the development zone’s background in scenario construction, priority cultivation fields, and supporting policies, while releasing the List for TEDA Scenario Opportunities. The List will be updated in real time to function as a supply-demand matchmaking platform that opens key industrial scenarios to the public, provides enterprises with customized application matching, and fosters technological innovation to elevate the level of industrial development.

A representative from TEDA Science and Technology Innovation Bureau delivered a comprehensive analysis of the zone's future industrial development plan and announced a series of forward-looking application scenarios.

Additionally, a representative from the Green Partnership of Industrial Parks in China delivered an insightful presentation on the construction of national-level zero-carbon parks. The unveiling of specialized application scenarios in this area drew significant attention from the participating enterprises.

This event represents a key initiative by TEDA to accelerate the commercialization of technological achievements and cultivate new quality productive forces through scenario openness. By successfully building an efficient and precise bridge for government-enterprise cooperation, TEDA has enabled Shenzhen’s cutting-edge technologies to find highly compatible application scenarios within the zone. Multiple Shenzhen enterprises have reached a consensus on cooperation with TEDA, not only securing a pipeline of high-quality projects for TEDA’s industrial upgrading, but also creating new opportunities for Shenzhen firms to expand into the northern market and integrate into global high-end supply chains. 

Looking ahead, both parties will take this conference as a new starting point to continuously tap into cooperative potential. By driving the deep integration and practical implementation of "Shenzhen Technology" with "TEDA Application Scenarios", TEDA aims to leverage open scenarios to empower technological innovation and industrial upgrading, thereby elevating North-South industrial synergy to a new level.
