Nangang Green Science and Technology Innovation Center Opens for Operation, Inviting Global Partners

The Nangang Green Science and Technology Innovation Center, located in the Nangang Industrial Zone of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), has officially opened. With a planned area of approximately 1.23 square kilometers, the project includes the Nangang Innovation Center Building, a laboratory building, and a technology commercialization base. It is designed to build a full-chain R&D system for the chemical industry, covering technology innovation, concept validation, and commercial application.

The Nangang Innovation Center Building, which opened in this phase, has a total floor area of 79,000 square meters. It integrates six major functions: a green petrochemical business reception center, a financial service center, an exhibition center, an employee recreation center, a conference service center, and a living service center. It also features dedicated office areas for experts and flexible workspaces. The building can accommodate a range of business types, including general offices, fintech, conferences and forums, and dining and leisure facilities,  offering full-lifecycle services to enterprises.

Leasing efforts at the center are already showing results. The podium floors (1st to 3rd) have attracted a diverse mix of service providers, including banks, law firms, supermarkets, and human resources agencies. The north and south towers have secured multiple signed projects, and several more high-quality projects are under discussion.

Going forward, the center will continue to support regional industrial development and position itself as an innovation hub bringing together technology, capital, and talent. We invite leading petrochemical companies, research institutions, logistics and trading firms, and high-end business organizations from around the world to join us. Together, we will chart a new course for the green petrochemical industry and move toward a future defined by green development, innovation, low-carbon operations, and smart technology.
