New TEDA, CEB Signs Credit Agreement

Reported by Tianjin News Broadcast, New TEDA, integrated by TEDA Investment Holding Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Jinlian Investment Holding Co., Ltd. signed a five-year credit agreement totaling 20 million yuan with China Everbright Bank on October 30th. It will give the advantage of full financial licenses of China Everbright Bank a full play, provide comprehensive financial services in banking business, and be a new paradigm of cooperation between banks and companies.

The First Foreign Capital Private Equity Fund Management Institution in North China Approved

It is learned from Tianjin Daily that Hanwha Investment Management Co., Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company, qualified as private equity fund manager by Asset Management Association of China, being the first foreign capital private equity fund management organization in Tianjin and North China.

Since Home Credit Consumer Finance, Development Manager • Standard Chartered Bank, center for AIIB’s data and integrated services, Colony Capital and other foreign capital international institutions, this is a major financial project in TEDA which marks symbolic signification for TEDA to create international financial institution cluster.

TEDA, CMIF Promote Intelligent Development of Energy Technical Equipment

For the development of relevant technologies and cooperation between enterprises and research institutions, China Energy Technical Equipment Intelligent Development Conference was held in TEDA. The conference was sponsored by China Machinery Industry Federation and co-sponsored by Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Promotion Bureau in TEDA. About 70 enterprises and institutions like State Grid, Shanghai Electric, TBEA, etc. from energy, equipment manufacturing, big data and research institutes, attended the event and exchanged ideas.

The conference strengthened the exchange and interaction between the government and enterprises, and promoted the exchange and cooperation between enterprises and public institutions in relevant industries.

TEDA Improves Services, Simplifies Procedures in Export Drawback

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, the taxation department of TEDA has paid close attention to the resumption of work and production of foreign trade enterprises in the area, and has continuously publicized the preferential tax policies to stabilize foreign trade and foreign investment through many online and offline channels. It simplifies the tax drawback procedures, quickens the drawback process, improves taxation services, and makes good use of the export drawback policies to help the foreign trade enterprises secure the market and orders and promote growth and development.

It is learned that foreign trade enterprises take a considerable proportion in TEDA. From January to August 2020, TEDA totally accepted 2,296 export drawback applications, involving more than 500 enterprises.

‘Chain Joining’ Linking Conference of 5G Application Industries Held in TEDA

On September 24, Tianjin 5G Industry “Chain Joining” Linking Conference was successfully held in TEDA. At this event, a total of 28 projects were signed, and 5G industry “chain joining” cloud linking was showed, so as to build a 5G “chain joining” cloud service platform for all industries.

At the conference, Tianjin Mobile signed agreements with 8 enterprises including 712 Corporation, Tianjin Unicom signed agreements with 8 enterprises including Great Wall, and Tianjin Telecom signed agreements with 6 enterprises including FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Branch. In addition, government of Hedong District, government of Jinnan District and TEDA Administrative Commission respectively signed comprehensive cooperation agreements with some parties.
