2024 Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo: July 10 - July 13
Themed “Shipping to the World & Navigating towards the Future - Facilitating Domestic and International Dual Circulation”, the expo aims to create a platform for international cooperation and exchange in the shipping industry.

Key Projects Signing Event
The opening day saw a signing ceremony for 65 key projects with investment totaling nearly 40 billion yuan. Multiple high-quality projects with a total investment of 11 billion yuan have been settled in TEDA.

Over the years, German enterprises have established a solid foundation for cooperation with Tianjin, especially with Tianjin Binhai New Area thanks to frequent economic and trade exchanges. He also mentioned that as a national-level pilot zone for reform and opening-up, Binhai is a national pilot zone for comprehensive reform, a national demonstration zone for independent innovation, and the first pilot Free Trade Zone in North China. Boasting Tianjin Port, the biggest comprehensive port in North China, Binhai is also the biggest advanced manufacturing base and the gateway of reform and opening-up in North China.

2024 China Maritime Week: July 11
Under the theme “Smart Navigation Leading into Future,” the China Maritime Forum and Opening Ceremony of China Maritime Week 2024 were held.
