A new comprehensive industrial base of vehicles and parts in North China

Introduction

At present, there are 32 enterprises in FAW-Volkswagen North China Base, with about 10,000 employees. All the enterprises here, including FAW-Volkswagen vehicle plant and the parts manufacturers, have started production and operation, and an automobile industrial base led by FAW-Volkswagen has gradually formed.

The Base will take the positioning of “a new comprehensive industrial base of vehicles and parts in North China”. It will focus on the development of high-end passenger vehicle and corresponding component manufacturing, research and testing of intelligent connected vehicles, automotive cultural and tourism industries, as well as vehicle-road coordination and autonomous driving technologies. Additionally, efforts will be made to further enhance the supporting functions of infrastructure, foster automotive industry clusters, extend the industrial chain, and actively build a well-integrated, innovation-driven, and distinctive automotive industry gathering zone.
