TEDA Wins National Honor for Intellectual Property Rights

Recently, the China National Intellectural Property Administration announced the review results for the 2025–2027 national pilot program for building a strong intellectual property country. TEDA was successfully approved as a National Demonstration Zone for High-Quality Agglomeration and Development of the Intellectual Property Service Industry. Five TEDA-based enterprises, including Rianlon Corporation and Asymchem Laboratories (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., were honored with the title of National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise.
The National Intellectual Property Demonstration Pilot Program is a national-level honor in the intellectual property field, aiming to cultivate a group of industry benchmarks with strong intellectual property competitiveness and significant demonstration effects. The evaluation covered seven dimensions, including demonstration cities, parks, and enterprises. TEDA stood out by leveraging its comprehensive strengths in service system construction, innovation resource clustering, and tangible results in industrial empowerment.

During the period of the 14th Five-Year Plan , TEDA focused on building an end-to-end, one-stop intellectual property service system, creating an innovation ecosystem through resource integration, platform establishment, and international cooperation.
On the industrial front, it provides enterprises with one-stop services covering intellectual property creation, protection, utilization, and financing, completing patent navigation for key industries such as nucleic acid drugs, and guiding leading enterprises to establish intellectual property operation centers.
On the service front, it actively promotes the deep integration of intellectual property and finance, completing an average of 100 million yuan in intellectual property pledge financing annually, supporting enterprises' participation in intellectual property securitization projects, assisting universities in local technology transfer, and exploring an "use before payment" model for intellectual property.
On the protection front, TEDA has developed a series of training programs. Additionally, in collaboration with the Tianjin Intellectual Property Protection Center, TEDA established the "China Enterprise Going Global Egypt (Tianjin TEDA) Intellectual Property Protection Workstation," integrating public service platforms with domestic and international legal resources to establish a rapid response mechanism for cross-border rights protection, effectively enhancing the capablities of enterprises in overseas intellectual property protection.
