Participants included key investment promotion personnel from various departments of the TEDA Administrative Commission and enterprises under its management.

During the training, Kang Kai systematically outlined the development trends and technological focuses of the automotive industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and provided a detailed analysis of the prospects and industrial opportunities in emerging sectors such as automotive-grade high-performance computing chips, embodied intelligence, and flying cars. In the subsequent discussion session, the key investment promotion personnel engaged in in-depth discussion with Kang Kai on their practical work experience.

The automotive industry is one of TEDA’s pillar industry of great strength. The area has already attracted leading vehicle manufacturers such as FAW Toyota, FAW-Volkswagen, Great Wall Motors, and FARZION AUTO, along with over 200 supporting component enterprises, forming a complete industrial chain. In recent years, TEDA has consistently focused on the directions of intelligence and connectivity, driving the continuous improvement of the automotive industry’s "value-added," "intelligence-added," and "green-added" attributes. Recently, major vehicle projects such as Great Wall Motors’ new-generation all-power intelligent super platform and FAW-Volkswagen’s VW316/9CN_B new model project have accelerated implementation, further strengthening TEDA’s automotive industry foundation. In the next phase, TEDA will continue to focus on developing new quality productive forces, promoting the accelerated transformation of the automotive industry toward new energy and intelligent connectivity, and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy.
