An Event Held in TEDA to Unveil Alliance, Establish Centers and Ink Projects

Recently, the State Key Laboratory of Medical Chemical Biology held its the 2025 Academic Committee Meeting and Academic Exchange Conference in TEDA. During the event, the Tianjin AI+Pharmaceutical Industry Alliance was officially inaugurated. Concurrently, three technology research and transformation centers—AI+Chronic Disease Management, Enzyme Engineering, and Intelligent Nanodrug Delivery—were established, with multiple cooperation agreements signed on site.

The Tianjin AI+Pharmaceutical Industry Alliance was jointly initiated by TEDA and the Tianjin International Joint Institute of Biomedicine. It aims to leverage AI, big data, and computing power in critical areas such as target discovery and drug design. Its first batch of members includes over 20 organizations, such as Chase Sun Pharmaceutical, Da Ren Tang, Lisheng Pharmaceutical, the National Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical and Chemical Biology, the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin, and Tianjin Telecom. Relying on the alliance’s resources, the three technology research and transformation centers—AI+Chronic Disease Management, Enzyme Engineering, and Intelligent Nanodrug Delivery—were established simultaneously. These centers will significantly enhance the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, promoting the transformation of innovative achievements into tangible productivity.

During the event, the Tianjin International Joint Institute of Biomedicine signed strategic cooperation agreements with organizations such as Zhongkeda Capital, Haihe Dairy, Zhongxinuokang, Tianjin 272 Hospital, and Oranger, further advancing the integration of industry, academia, and research. Dynamiker Biotechnology and Celang Biotech signed a strategic agreement focused on innovative drug development. China Mobile collaborated with the Tianjin International Joint Institute of Biomedicine and Oranger to achieve multi-dimensional cooperation, jointly expanding industrial application scenarios. The time-honored brand Xianghe Bakery also released a project onsite to further promote efficient alignment of research needs and cutting-edge technologies.
