NASDAQ Company Chooses TEDA to Build Cloud Computing Data Center
With the vigorous promotion of TEDA, the cloud computing data center of Kingsoft Cloud in Yat-sen Scientific Industrial Park, a key construction project in Tianjin, has been launched recently.

The center is planned to be the core cloud computing base of Kingsoft Cloud in North China and the first self-built data center of Kingsoft Cloud, with a total of 6,600 cabinets planned. After the completion of the project, it will cover the business of Kingsoft Cloud in North China, and provide cloud products and cloud services directly to customers of various industries, including game cloud, video cloud, government cloud, medical cloud, financial cloud, etc.
The project covers a land area of 40 mu with two phases. It is expected that it will carry out civil construction in late October.

Beijing Kingsoft Cloud Network Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012 with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. It is an independently listed cloud computing enterprise split by Kingsoft Group and the top three in China’s public cloud market. It has set up data centers and operating agencies in Beijing, Shanghai, Yangzhou, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Singapore. Kingsoft Cloud continuously promotes the integration and innovation of cloud with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, block chain and edge computing to realize the application of new technologies in various application scenarios. The total income of Kingsoft Cloud in 2019 was nearly 4 billion yuan. On May 8, 2020, Kingsoft Cloud was officially listed on NASDAQ.
