30 Major Projects in TEDA Start Construction with a Total Investment of 28.8 bln Yuan

On February 3, Binhai New Area held the Spring 2023 Major Projects Start-up Event. 30 major projects in TEDA have been initiated with a total investment of 28.8 billion yuan, covering multiple fields including biomedicine, green petrochemical, automobile and high-end equipment, modern service industry and infrastructure. Among them, there are 2 projects above 5 billion yuan, 8 projects above 1 billion yuan, and 24 projects above 100 million yuan.The leading effect of large projects is outstanding.

In term of park construction, Tianjin’s first large-scale M0 new industrial land project, Binhai-Zhongguancun Beitangwan Digital Economy Industrial Park, has been officially launched. The first phase of the project is expected to complete the construction of industrial area in the first half of 2024. In the field of automobiles and high-end equipment, the project of Tianjin production base of Faway-Hella will be completed and put into operation by the end of this year. By then, the base will be providing supporting products of headlights for many leading domestic automobile manufacturers and meet the needs of customers in North China, East China and other regions. In the field of biomedicine, the second phase of the accelerator construction project of the National Biomedicine International Innovation Park is under construction. With a total investment of 340 million yuan, the project will build three new main buildings of the enterprise accelerator for the R&D and production of medical devices and equipments.
