A Project of World’s Largest EPS Producer Breaks Ground in Nangang
Recently, the polystyrene production base of Loyal Group, the world’s largest producer of expandable polystyrene (EPS), officially started construction in Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone. It is the largest polystyrene production base the company has ever built in China’s mainland. The project, with a total investment of approximately US$138 million and covering an area of approximately 200,000 square meters, will adopt internationally advanced production technology developed independently. The project will reach an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of polystyrene, and is scheduled to be commissioned in early 2024. After the commissioning, the base will fully utilize the upstream styrene resources within the park and gradually develop into an important link in the extension of the chemical new materials industry in TEDA, helping to upgrade the regional petrochemical industry.
Founded in Taipei, China, 1973, the Loyal Group has built production bases in Ningbo, Tianjin, Zhuhai and Qingdao, and its products are sold well in various countries and regions globally.
