Faway Hella’s Tianjin Production Base Project Breaks Ground in TEDA

On February 21, a groundbreaking ceremony for the start of construction of the Tianjin production base project of  Faway Hella Automotive Lighting (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was held in TEDA Industrial Park. Established in November 2022 in TEDA, the company plans to invest 475 million RMB to set up the R&D center and production base in the area. The R&D center is located in TEDA East and has been officially online at the end of 2022. The production base is located in Industrial Park and will introduce several production lines for passenger car tail lights and headlights, providing supporting products for many leading domestic car companies. This will meet the needs of customers in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and even North and East China, and improve the localized supporting capacity of auto parts in these regions.

Changchun Faway Hella Automotive Lighting Co., Ltd. was established in 2012, which is jointly invested by Changchun Faway Automobile Components Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Hella Electronics Co., Ltd. The company’s main business is the development, production and sale of various automobile headlights. Its manufacturing technology is in the leading position in China, with a number of independent intellectual property rights. The company’s main customers are FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Hongqi and Li Auto.
