PPG Reinvests USD 50 million in TEDA
Recently, PPG Coatings (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. made an additional investment of USD 50 million for increasing its R&D input to develop new innovative products, penetrate new markets, and enhance its technology leadership in the coatings industry.

Registered in TEDA in April 1994, PPG Coatings (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. has developed into PPG’s largest coatings production base in the world. With the continuous upgrading of products in the base, PPG has been promoting its investment in its R&D in TEDA. It invested in PPG’s Global Coatings Innovation Center and the PPG Battery Pack Application Center, both of which were put into operation in 2023. PPG’s continuous investment and rapid development in TEDA fully demonstrates its determination and confidence in rooting itself in Tianjin and cultivating itself in TEDA.
