PPG Opens Auto Coatings Color Innovation Studio in TEDA
Recently, PPG announced the opening of Automotive Coatings Color Innovation Studio at the PPG Global Coatings Innovation Center in TEDA. It is dedicated to providing comprehensive color innovation solutions for automotive enterprises. The launch of this studio is not only an important strategic move by PPG in the Chinese market but also a milestone in its in-depth layout in the field of new energy vehicles.
Equipped with global-leading facilities and technical platforms, the studio supports color innovation for automotive exterior and interior parts, decorative accessories, and wheel hubs. While relying on PPG’s global color database and making use of physical samples, visualization technology, and digital tools, it can provide customers with immersive color experiences. Currently, the laboratory has over 4,000 color design samples and plans to add 500 new global automotive colors each year.
