Nippon Paint Launches Its Largest Global Automotive Coatings Production Base in TEDA
On May 22nd, Nippon Paint launched its automotive coatings production base in TEDA, which is its globally largest automotive coatings production base covering an area of approximately 193,000 square meters. It focuses on the R&D and production of core products such as automotive coatings and its matching resin, with an estimated annual production capacity of 133,000 tons. The base follows the philosophy of intelligent manufacturing of Industry 4.0, introducing the management platform including automotive feeding system, intelligent warehousing logistics and digital management platform. Meanwhile, it also adopts multiple leading eco-friendly treatment technology, and significantly improves Nippon Paint’s supply and service standard in China and even global automotive coatings market, which will boost the development of Nangang as a world-class green new chemical materials industrial base.
