TEDA Launches Events to Celebrate National Ecological Day
August 15, 2025 marks the third National Ecological Day. TEDA joined forces with regional enterprises to carry out a series of activities. Through government-enterprise collaboration and ecological practices, the initiative explored new approaches to green development.
Establishing the Alliance
Recently, TEDA Environmental Protection Alliance of Pharmaceutical Industry was established, and its first themed event was held. The alliance, comprised of 16 leading pharmaceutical enterprises in the region as founding members, aims to promote green, low-carbon and high-quality development in the local pharmaceutical industry. During the event, the Convention of TEDA Environmental Protection Alliance of Pharmaceutical Industry was announced. Industry experts shared insights on regulatory changes, waste gas and solvent treatment, and emerging pollutant management. Corporate representatives exchanged views on green development practices, challenges, and future plans for the alliance, collectively working toward sustainable industry development.
Launching Eco-Collaboration Activity
An activity themed “Ecological Synergy for Green Development Leadership”, organized by TEDA , was held in the Qilihai Wetland. During the event, the eco-industrial tourism cooperative partners were officially inaugurated. FAW-Volkswagen will collaborate with Qilihai to deeply integrate industrial tourism with ecological tourism, and the two parties will launch eco-industrial research initiatives in the future. Additionally, the Biodiversity Conservation Alliance of Coporates in TEDA established its activity base at the Qilihai Ecological Education Center. It will serve as a practice base for enterprises conducting activities like species monitoring and ecological restoration.
