TEDA Enterprise Fills Gap in Domestic Air Traffic Control Equipment

Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued a provisional civil aviation use license for the domestically produced ILS900 instrument landing system to Tianjin 764 Communication and Navigation Technology Co., Ltd.，a company based in TEDA. This marks the full localization of 23 categories of air traffic control communication, navigation, and surveillance equipment in China.

The newly certified ILS900 instrument landing system, jointly developed by the 764 Company and the Civil Aviation University of China, is fully digital in design. As the only product of its kind in China to have received provisional certification, it fully demonstrates TEDA’s robust efforts to build a collaborative innovation mechanism that integrates industry, academia, research, and application.

The instrument landing system is the primary guidance method for aircraft during landing. With its high technical complexity and stringent safety requirements, it plays a vital role in ensuring flight safety.
