Asymchem Inaugurates New Production Facility in TEDA

Recently, Asymchem, a pharmaceutical company based in TEDA, put into operation its new modern OEB5 production facility. Designed with industry-leading concepts, the facility is equipped with full-scale synthesis systems ranging from 5L to 1000L, along with supporting separation and purification equipment, enabling end-to-end production of highly potent compounds from gram to multi-kilogram scale. All unit operations are supported by advanced engineering control systems and automated machinery, with highly sealed equipment to strictly meet safety requirements for handling highly active pharmaceutical ingredients throughout the production process.

With state-of-the-art hardware and technical expertise, the facility is capable of undertaking various global commercial projects involving highly active drugs, catering to multi-stage needs from toxicology studies to commercial production. In the third quarter of this year, an adjacent high-potency R&D laboratory will also commence operations, further strengthening Asymchem’s integrated capabilities in the R&D and production of highly active drugs and injecting new momentum into the development of TEDA’s biopharmaceutical ecosystem.
