Bohai Chemical Phase II Project in Nangang Fully Commences Operations

Recently, the Phase II chlor-alkali integration project of the Bohai Chemical Nangang New Materials Industrial Park, with a total investment of over 5 billion yuan, achieved full operational status. Core facilities, including an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of caustic soda, 400,000 tons of vinyl chloride, and 400,000 tons of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), have successfully reached their production targets. With full operation, the industrial park's total annual caustic soda capacity will reach 900,000 tons, while its total PVC capacity will reach 1.2 million tons.

As a key extension of the flagship industrial chain in the Nangang Industrial Zone, the Bohai Chemical Phase II project leverages integrated process advantages and advanced technological equipment to establish a complete production chain—from basic raw materials to high-end polymers. This initiative has created a development framework where the chlor-alkali and petrochemical industries are deeply integrated, not only enhancing the industrial ecosystem but also strengthening the regional industrial cluster effect.

Currently, with the coordination and collaboration of multiple departments in TEDA, the Bohai Chemical Nangang New Materials Industrial Park has synergized with several leading enterprises in the region, contributing to the establishment of a comprehensive industrial system in the Nangang Industrial Zone—from basic chemical raw materials to high-end new materials.
