World's First! GWM's Next-Gen Intelligent Super Platform for All Powertrains Unveiled in TEDA

Recently, at the China Motor Show (Tianjin) 2025, GWM unveiled its next-generation intelligent super platform for all powertrains. As the world's first vehicle platform compatible with power forms like plug-in hybrid, pure electric, hydrogen, hybrid, and fuel, it will first be applied to a series of new luxury models under the WEY brand. Construction has already begun at GWM's Tianjin production base located in TEDA. Currently, the new WEY luxury models built on this platform have entered the final quality validation stage and will be put into production alongside the platform at the Tianjin factory, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of Tianjin's new energy intelligent connected vehicle industry.

Tianjin Haval Branch of Great Wall Motor Company Limited was established in 2009 in the West Zone of TEDA, with a total investment of 13.2 billion yuan. Covering an area of 1.96 million square meters, it is the first complete vehicle production base invested by Great Wall Motor outside Baoding, equipped with complete processes of stamping, welding, painting, and assembly. By the end of 2024, Tianjin Haval Branch had accumulatively produced 3.98 million vehicles, with an output value of 403.6 billion yuan.
