TEDA Biotech Innovation Park Inaugurated, HocerMed Signs Lease Agreement

Recently, TEDA Biotech Innovation Park passed joint inspection for its Phase II project of accelerator buildings A1 & A2 and incubator buildings B1–B4. With Hocermed signing the lease agreement, the park is set to inject robust momentum into regional biopharmaceutical innovation.  

Located in the TEDA East Zone, the innovation park is positioned as a research-oriented production headquarters space, comprising 2 accelerator buildings, 4 incubator buildings, and related supporting facilities. The Phase II project covers approximately 269,000 square meters, primarily dedicated to R&D and production in the biopharmaceutical industry and high-end medical device manufacturing. It aims to overcome bottlenecks in high-end biopharmaceutical technology R&D and industrialization, effectively fostering industrial clustering.  

HocerMed, a leading enterprise in China's minimally invasive surgical instrument sector, established its TEDA production base in 2013. The newly signed R&D and production base project in TEDA Biotech Innovation Park involves an estimated total investment of RMB 120 million, focusing on the development and production of ultrasonic knives, high-frequency electrosurgical devices, and intelligent staplers.
